1. Club Overview

KOOR is a non-profit motor racing club set up to host race meetings at Lydden Hill Raceway.

The promoter, Tony Rolfe, states that these rules have been compiled in the spirit of fair motor racing and competition.

Our aim is to create a friendly, fair and cost-effective racing opportunity for all members.

6. Rule Infringements & Penalties

Penalties range from place deductions to permanent bans. Decisions made jointly by KOOR and Lydden race stewards.

7. Complaints Procedure

Drivers should first speak directly to the driver concerned or formula rep.

If lodging an official complaint:

The race steward’s decision is final.

8. Social Media Policy

Unfounded or abusive online comments toward the club or drivers will not be tolerated.

9. Race Format

10. Start Procedure

Heat 1: 2-lap practice → rolling start

Heat 2 & Final: 1-lap warm up → rolling start

No overtaking before reaching start flag.

Jump starts will be penalised.

11. Membership

Membership and race fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The KOOR LyddenRod Championship is promoted by Kent Outlaw Oval Racing (KOOR) and organised by Lydden Hill Drivers Club LTD (LHDC LTD), licensed with NORA92 Motorsport.

Race meetings are held on the oval circuit at Lydden Hill Race Circuit (LHRC).

2. Liability & Risk

Motorsport is dangerous. By entering, competitors acknowledge the risks involved.

LHDC LTD, KOOR, LHRC and associated organisations accept no liability for injury, loss or damage except in cases of negligence causing personal injury or death.

No personal accident or vehicle insurance is included. Drivers are strongly advised to arrange their own cover.

If you are modifying your car to gain an advantage, it is probably not allowed.

If you are modifying your car to improve safety, it is probably allowed.

If it does not say you can do it — presume you cannot.
